Richland welcomes a new kind of assistant

“For seven years, he’s been my best friend,” said Billy Whitson, Richland’s new director of the Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) program. “He’s 180 pounds so, he’s a large guy to carry around.” 

Whitson didn’t bring a human being with him nor did he bring an animal. Instead, he invited students to say hello to Carlos, a life-size mannequin.
