Todd Bermont, author, job search expert and radio host will be the guest speaker at the free Veterans Employment Workshop from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., Sept. 20 in Sabine Hall, Room 118.
Bermont is the author of “10 Insider Secrets to a Winning Job Search” and former host of “Your Career” on Lone Star Radio 104.5 FM. He has been a featured guest on FOX, CNN, ABC News Now, Career Builder and Forbes.
The workshop will focus on achieving a new mission: To uncover job opportunities, form an exemplary résumé, sell military skills to civilians, avoid the gatekeepers (with LinkedIn), ace interviews and land a job.
The workshop includes: networking with employers in high tech fields and data centers such as Texas Instruments, Cyxtera and others plus a one-year subscription to The Careers College (a $297 value), plus lunch.

From 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. every Thursday this semester, the Richland Yoga Club is offering classes in yoga and meditation in Crocket Hall, Room 110.
